I really like when a wedding or an event is styled with a particular color palette or special design or shape. It really makes the event coordinate and appears well planned out. Even if you think that guests don’t really notice the special touches that were added, the overall theme when carried through will give that look of grace and flow. In my experience, people will notice and make comments about how beautiful everything looked.
Notice the pink, brown, and white color theme with the square shapes used in the following photos:
It looks so nice with coordinating flowers, menu cards, decor, and set up. The tall vases with floating pink roses was really dramatic and the short tower of jelly beans in pink and white were whimsical as they played both a part of decor as well as a fun snack for guests.
Martha Stewart Wedding shows great themes for weddings. One is the Cameo with Pink and Black. This theme is for the classic bride who wants to formalize their day with the cameo as well as the classic black formal color that the groom often wears.

The big color schemes for spring/summer 2008 are:
- Bright fresh yellow with spring green and white
- Fuchia with taupe
- Shades of pink from dark to light
All of the colors are great to carry your theme into all aspects of your wedding from invitiations to centerpieces to the many details, and so on.
