Wedding websites are a great source of information for your guests. You can point everyone there to find pictures of the lovely couple, travel information, hotel room blocks, things to do, and the registry. What’s great about wedding websites is that you don’t have to include extra inserts in your invitation set, saving on printing costs and using extra paper.

The major differences with a paid vs. free site: You get your own .com domain address, there are usually a lot more customizable templates, and usually more features. Some of the paid sites give you planning software, which you can probably get from a free theknot.com site.

Lots of brides are making the move towards wedding websites since you can update it regularly and even make blog posts for your guests to read. Its a ton of fun to be able to track the wedding couple throughout the planning process.
