Sarah + Hanan Wedding Photos at the Kyoto Grand Hotel

Sarah and Hanan’s wedding day was amazing and memorable. They are such an awesome couple. You could feel the love all around, not just from the couple, but from the friends and family that gathered at the Kyoto Grand from all parts of the world. They had guests from Japan, the East Coast, Denver, just to nameĀ  a few.

The weather cooperated with us for a change. There was rain in the forecast for the week and Henry and I had our fingers crossed, doing the no rain dance for days leading up to the wedding. We were SO lucky! The clouds parted around noon on Sunday and left beautiful clear blue skies. Even when those darker rain clouds started back in around ceremony time, we still had clear weather that took us through the entire ceremony. Phew! The Japanese Garden was the original reason why the couple choose the Kyoto Grand hotel, so it would have been a shame to not be able to do the ceremony outdoors.

Thanks Henry for the cool collages. This will give you a good idea of how awesome the day turned out!

Ceremony

The bride selected a Spring color palette of Terracotta, Green Apple, White, Pink, and Champagne. There were even actual granny smith green apples in the centerpieces! The colors were so beautiful and came together quite nicely throughout the entire wedding. The couple personalized some elements that made it extra special.

Getting Ready

Enjoy the details in the photo collage from Sarah and Hanan’s wedding.

Reception

Finally the fun stuff – the cupcakes and the candy bars. It was a big hit! The cupcakes were placed on different tiering of cake stands, jars, vases, and martini glasses to give it a more interested effect. The bride didn’t want a traditional tree like cupcake tower, so we opted for this way instead. The candy bar was filled with all delicious candies that fit the colors and the candies that the bride and groom enjoyed.

Wedding Details

Thanks to Sarah and Hanan for giving me the opportunity to be part of their special day! Enjoy your world travels together!
